The Persian New Year Card
Sharing the excitement of my favorite holiday—Norouz/Naw Ruz/Persian New Year/نوروز.
The Haft Seen, on Paper
The cards feature botanical prints and paintings that highlight important features of the new year: rebirth and revitalization.
This card includes hyacinth, an integral symbol of Persian New Year and the haft sīn.
Set of four designs
The four designs include three members of the haft sīn.
Bottom left: a Qajar-era rose wishing you a happy new year.
Bottom right: a sumac branch (part of the haft sīn) wishing you a prosperous Naw Ruz (also written nourouz, norooz, and nevruz, depending on transliteration, and which country is celebrating).
Orange-lined envelope
On the right, the apple (part of the haft sīn) and apple blossoms wishing you a happy nourouz.
